Mustang Mach 1. STEAL THIS CAR OUR LOSS IS YOUR GAIN................. 1970 MUSTANG MACH 1 428 SHOW QUALITY AT A DRIVER GRADE PRICE............. I want to sell this car FAST . The price is fairly firm, however, I will look at offers that are very close to the asking price and if we dont get a full price offer or extremely close to it within a week or so, I will consider the other offers so take your chances if you want............ I have WAY more into this car than I am asking, and am reluctantly selling it because I can no longer drive due to an injury . I sincerely encourage you to search Craigslist and Ebay and Google etc anywhere in the world for one of these and you will quickly see that there is NOTHING nearly as nice overall and MCA Concours correct under the hood for anywhere even close to this price . If you are SERIOUS about buying one of these and have been looking at other cars and have $47900.00 to spend on one, you will literally throw money at me when you see this car, its that simple . I know very well what these cars are currently selling for [(not just the over inflated prices everyone seems to be asking for them) so I priced it at least $10,000.00 lower than other cars in similar condition so it would sell quickly................ This is an extremely nice car but it is not an $100,000.00 rotisserie Concours judged trailered car.................. We have owned it for around 12 years.................... It has the original matching vin engine...................... It is a rare export car and those cars did NOT come with smog equipment which is why t is not on there, however, if you want to install smog, I have a complete brand new reproduction system that sells for around $1750.00 that I will sell for $900.00............... Please feel free to bring your own Mustang expert if you dont know these cars well yourself . This car has absolutely nothing to hide............... The car runs and drives extremely well . It doesnt drift or wander on the highway and it has exceptional throttle response . If you push the gas pedal fast enough it will easily roast the tires . It has a nice performance sound at idle but the camshaft is close to stock so it doesnt have an obnoxious race car type lope to it.................... The engine is rebuilt to stock specs with the highest quality parts available and it was balanced to within 2 grams and has absolutely zero miles on it . It is only .030 over and it will idle and drive drive down the road at exactly 185 degrees all day long even in 100 degree heat.................. The engine compartment IS Concours show quality correct with new PPG catalyzed paint and all the correct hoses and clamps etc and does not have a spec of dust on it . It is also completely stock looking and still has the stock cast iron headers, fuel lines and radiator fan and fan clutch etc . The bottom side of the hood is painted body color with base coat and clear and looks showroom new........................... The body is 100% RUST FREE . This means that it NEVER HAD ANY RUST . There are NO PATCH PANELS on this car . It is also straight with no waves down the sides and all the gaps are nice and the headlight housings and rear quarter extensions line up as well as they did when the car was new but they were not all hand filed and custom fit to fit better than new like they are on some $100,000.00 plus show cars etc.................... The paint is a nice bright rich red color . It does not have an orange hue to it like the first photo shows . That was taken with an old cell phone . I has been color sanded and polished . I would call it B grade overall and I am very picky . It is definitely more than nice enough for local shows but it wont win best paint compared t a $20,000.00 paint job . There are no noticeable chips or scratches that I recall . If there are any, you would have to look pretty hard for |
