| Details: | This is a beautifully maintained numbers matching BOSS 302. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle. It was restored in1981 and has been stored in a temperature and humidity controlled garage ever since. It is in the BOSS Registry #2063. It has the following options: Rear Window Sport Slats, Traction Lok Differential (340 gears), Tilt Steering Wheel (rare for 1970), Intermittent Wipers (also rare for 1970), Magnum 500 Wheels, Tach and Trip Odometer, Front Spoiler, Quick Ratio Steering, Wide Ratio 4-Speed Transmission, Competition Suspension, Fold Down Rear Seat, Shaker Hood, Dual Horns, Hood Locks (Dealer installed option), Space Saver Spare Tire, (with original air bottle). The following items were added by the original owner: Shelby Console (this adds an oil pressure guage and oil temperature guage), Oil Cooler, Dual Oil Filters, Heavier Export Braces and Powder Coated Shock Tower Covers, Monte Carlo Bar and a Mach 1 Rear Valance and Exhaust Tips. The motor was rebuilt and bored .30 over. It has a slightly larger cam than stock. The original Solid Lifters are still in place as is the Holley 780 cfm Carburetor. It still has the Rev Limiter and the Dual Point Distibutor. Original owner stated when the car was dynoed after rebuild it was rated at 340 HP at the rear wheels. I have replaced the Dash Pad and the Clutch. The car has only been driven just over 2000 miles since I purchased it. I have also installed a California Sound Stereo System with AM/FM Cassette and a 10 Disc CD Changer mounted in the trunk. This car has won many trophies at Car Shows including 2 Best in Show awards. |
