| Details: | This is a nice original 302 Boss that I have owned since 1978. It was driven a little each year and spent the last 35 years stored in my airplane hanger here in dry Central Oregon. Included is a Marti report. The car was repainted in 1987 and the color was changed from the original Bright Gold Metallic to the 1970 mustang yellow it is now. The car had original options including : rear deck spoiler, electric clock, G60 X 15 Raised letter tires ( it has the second set of the exact tires on the car now). AM Radio ( was changed to a factory AM/FM ) Wood grain interior deluxe decor group...( it is still in nice condition with no rips) , original carpet, headliner etc.and factory Tachometer. Also a factory Tilt wheel column was installed years ago. It also has a rim blow horn, power steering and power brakes and the 3:50 gears were changed to 3:91 gears in the 70s. It has a close ratio 4-speed. Several items were chromed on the engine including the power steering pump, brackets, alternator was polished and brackets plated , valve covers, oil pan and shock tower supports and misc were also chromed years ago. Carb is original , accel distributor is in the car but I have the original...Also it has the factory air cleaner. The battery was moved to the trunk in the 70s but is easy to move back. Extra parts for the car are : original steering column, rev-limiter, boss exhaust manifolds, with heat riser shields and motor lift brackets...This is a great car with a rust freestraightbody ...It has not been restored but painted and well cared for. The engine and transmission have not been changed since I have owned the car but we do not know if they are original to the car..Call me with any questions at 541-771-2515..email.. [ email ]. |
