You want cool? Youve got it with this 1970 GMC C10 pickup. With a high-visibility paint joband#44; a cackling fuel-injected LS2 V8and#44; and a tasteful interiorand#44; they dont come any brighter than this. It also helps that this one has the perfect stanceand#44; lots of performanceand#44; and a practical 8-foot bed that can still work for a living. If youre looking for a truck to drive and enjoyand#44; they dont come much nicer than this. Hugger Orange looks great on anything from the muscle car eraand#44; especially something born in 1970 such as this GMC. It seems to be wearing a combination of fresh and original paintand#44; which means that there are no secrets or bad surprises waiting under the surface and it has an overall look thats very appealing. A glance in all the nooks and crannies shows that this truck probably spent the entirety of its life down south where its warm and while there are a few bumps and bruises here and thereand#44; the sucker looks awesome going down the road. The white top is a traditional look that GM pickups have worn for yearsand#44; and it contrasts wonderfully with the modern stance and rolling stock. Add some bright stainless trim and chrome bumpers to break up all that orangeand#44; a neatly lettered tailgate that looks traditionaland#44; and a bed protected with a spray-in bedlinerand#44; andand#44; welland#44; you have one heck of a truck. The flashback to the 60s continues inside with a light tan interior thats seldom seen in pickups but looks and works great. The tan upholstery works well with the Hugger Orange paintand#44; and the durable vinyl seating surfaces should last practically forever. We believe the carpets and seat cover are recentand#44; and its been fitted with matching door panels and a wood-rimmed steering wheel to add to the luxury-oriented vibe. An array of factory gauges is includedand#44; including a rather rare factory tachand#44; and theyre augmented with a set of white-faced dials for water temperatureand#44; oil pressureand#44; and voltage in the original holes. A column-shifted automatic means that three-across seating is comfortableand#44; not awkwardand#44; and heavy-duty floor mats seem to suit the truck just fine. Theres also a decent-sounding AM/FM radio in the original slotand#44; so it looks right but provides a nice update over the original AM unit. The underside is typical of a vehicle that has lived someplace warmand#44; and while its unrestoredand#44; it has been well maintained and drives superblyand#44; especially with the lowered suspension and power front disc brakes. A pair of Flowmaster mufflers give it a mellow exhaust note and those Torque Thrust wheels are fitted with fat 255/55/18 performance radials for a great street stance.
