Details: We believe that this is a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass F85 Rallye, it is mostly an original car, it does have the original three speed Turbo 350 transmission, running gear, and has the correct details that match the Vin Decode to make it a true Rallye version of this car. The VIN: 332770M246085, it decodes in the following way: 3: Oldsmobile Division, 32: F85 V8, 77: 2DR Club Coupe, 0: 1970, M: Lansing, Michigan Plant, 246085: Unit Number, These are the decodes from the Trim Tag, it decodes this way: ST 70 332777 LAN 347027 BDY, TR900 -- -- PNT, 01B B90, ST70: 1970, 33277: Oldsmobile F85 Club Coupe, LAN: Lansing Production Plant, 347027: Body Unit Number TR900:, 01B: 2nd Week of January Production Date, ---- Paint codes: Indicate Custom Paint Order The only way to truly authenticate a Rallye 350 Cutlass is with the build sheet, located under the drivers seat. This was not present in this particular car. Alternative indicators are present, however. It is an F85 Club Coupe manufactured in the second week of January at the Lansing, Michigan Production plant, as the real Rallye cars were only manufactured in January in Lansing. Also the blank upper and lower paint codes on the trim tag indicate that the car was ordered with custom paint, which also would appear on a Rallye car. The decal kit appears to be original, indicated by the paint be raised around them. The Rallye 350 cars were produced with a high compression 350ci V8 engine, but this one has a 1972 engine with number 7 heads, which is the only real issue regarding matching numbers. The rest of the car, as far as we can tell is original and matches to a Rallye version of these cars. Aside from these technical details this car has theunmistakable styling of the Cutlass Supreme on the early 1970s, those shoulders, the hood, the stance, we love these cars! This car has a powerfuland original 350V8 Rocket engine mated to a nice shifting three speed automatic. This is a very good running and driving example of these Rallye cars with a no rust or rot, cleanundercarriage with no rust or rot, and what looks like a brand new interior. The mechanicals on this car are very good, she starts right up and idles nicely, ease the shifter to put it into gear and off you go down the road. The transmission shifts nicely and the brakes work well. Overall the major systems function as they should. The interior on this car is in very good to excellent condition. The seats are comfortable to sit in and in very good condition. The carpet is in good shape, the dash has no cracks, and the steering wheel is also very good. The headliner, and touchable items are all in very good condition and feel good. The body on this car is in overall very good to excellent condition. The frame, the pans, the trunk, the rockers are all very clean. Overall this car is in very good shape, with only the minor nicks that come with time. The paint is very good, not perfect, but totally passable an an enjoyable driver. There areare no rot or rust or issues. Clearly this car was garaged and well cared for, enjoy it for the next 10 years! Bid, Buy, Enjoy! Drive it! If you want to know the reserve or ‘Buy it now’ please CALL US at (603) 818-8511.
