The car has just undergone a full, frame-off restoration with attention to detail at the highest standard. The only reason our client is selling is because his wife prefers their Nova to this car. Poor guy, but his loss is your gain. The Demon was introduced to Dodges line-up in 1971, available in two models. The base two door coupe was priced at $2,343 and came standard with your choice of the 198 C.I. Slant Six or the 318 C.I. V-8; however, buyers looking for performance opted for the Scat Pack Demon 340. Priced at $2,721 the Demon 340 was the most affordable Dodge musclecar produced in 1971. 10,098 Dodge Demon 340s were produced in 1971. This example was originally painted Butterscotch from the factory but restoration was finished in Burnt Orange, which we agree looks a lot better. It also distinguishes this build from the other Demon 340s on the market, of which, there are few. Every fit and finish on the car is new, from the headliner to the pistol grip shifter to the exhaust system. The car is powered by a refreshed MOPAR Performance 340ci/275hp V8 mated to 4-speed manual transmission with a rear-wheel drive. The car looks just as good as it drives. Shifting is smooth, suspension is tight, and the acoustics are awesome (see video). The car offers zero excuses. All the hard labor has been done with no expense spared and now this Demon 340 is in need of a new garage to call home.
