FIAT 600 upon a recent journey to the UK I purchased this excellant example from a most major auto restoration firm. They recently completed an overhaul/restoration, everything taken down to the last detail and either rebuilt when needed, or completely replaced, photos will show all work done, (note: headlight rings where out being rechromed when some of the photos were taken in October) vehicle drives out as any new car would right hand drive makes this car particulary rare indeed, not many made, but i do not have any numbers to confirm, What i do have is records going back through all the years since new , mostly MOT inspections and receipts for recent parts incl all brake and suspension, engine parts, all rubber seals, interior, paint work, tires, etc. Also of interest I have the original dealers color brochure and the tool kit and jack that came with the car. Since ive had the car home ive attended many car shows in my local area, garners huge interest, folks stop by and take photos, more than any other car at the shows, i ve had people stop me in traffic, parking lots, and the like for photos and questions. This collectable car would make a great marketing tool for any business, just park it out front and the attraction begins., even better the microcar hobby has exploded with the values of all microcars breaking price from what was assumed a minimal car without much following., That was the past...today micorcars are the fastest growing genre of the collectable car community. The fiat 600 holds a very special place in history 1. the first fiat rear engine car 2. Removed Italians from their Vespa scooters and back into auto transportation 3. without the 600 the 500 would not have been born. over 2.8 million produced and the fiat 500 produced twice as many! Takes up little room in the garage, parts are available in large supply all over the world, and maintaining her is a breeze. The body stayed the same throughout production from 1955-1973 albeit the suicide door was omited after 1963. Have a free and clean Florida Title Car is absolutely rust free, and the complete underside was Shultz Treated ( a undercoating used widely in auto restoration for the complete sealing of all exposed underside) making it better than new. car has the 747cc engine upgrade, which is 100cc larger than the original engines installed up to 1967. Important note: MOST ALL MICROCARS ARE AIR COOLED, NOT SO WITH THE 600, ITS WATERCOOLED. Important upgrade is the electronic ignition other upgrade includeds carpet throughout, windows roll up and down perfectly, all locks work, car needs nothing, ready to go....Heater works great as well. Keeps up very well in traffic, power to spare, and the car only weighs 1208 lbs empty@! exceptionally effecient, gets 40 mpg with only a 6 gallon tank..Handling could be compared to driving a go cart, fast and snappy, rear seat folds down for lots of available cargo space in such a small car. Leaving for the entire summer to Moab Utah with new Polaris and motorhome so i need to sell by early summer. I really cant believe youd find a finer example here in the U.S. for the price going to get better photos and download soon, havent had much sunshine lately One more thing, if you go to youtube youll find all kinds of fiat 600 videos, some even show them racing which is really exciting to watch these microcars knocking around the road courses. those Brits do have loads of fun Cheers Mate
