The Story: This was always a southern California car be coming to North Carolina about six years ago. The car was rebuilt as a Cal Look car in southern California. The current owner liked a little more chrome and with an aircraft engineering background up graded the mechanicals to be the best it could be. Complete frame off restoration with Absolutely NO RUST! Garaged and covered since restored.

Wheels and tires converted to 5 width. New 15 wheels where double powdered coated. New stainless steel, polished wheel covers and rings show off the new Firestone 5.60-15 bias-ply wide white wall tires.

Front Brakes converted to Airkewld Brake System with new rotors, bearings. Wilwood double piston sided calipers and Wilwood brake pads give the improved brake performance.

Triple Coated Plating can be seen throughout the car. 1) front air grills disassembled and each piece plated. 2) Front air vent escutcheon. 3) Windshield wiper arms. 4) rear hatch latch.

Interior completely redone (custom look). Steering wheel is a Flat Four reproduction. All gauges are VDO with white faces. Original (dealer orderable) Kienzle eight day clock. High- end throw- back natural Coco Mats.

Engine block original and now 1914cc. High flow heads, Eagle cam, new everything inside. Rebuilt about 30k miles ago. Dual Weber 40 IDF set up with electric fuel pump. Stainless Steel Exhaust. Recently tuned and synched for Awesome performance.

Transmission is a Three Rib bus tranny (more stout than the type 1) Overhauled when motor was done. Freeway Flyer gearing.

Battery is an OPTIMA Red Top. Harley Davidson headlights. Marchal driving lights.
