1972 BMW 2002 looking for a new home. The car, affectionately known as Beanie within our family, has been owned by us since new and mileage now stands at 50,280 miles. The car underwent a full external and engine restoration by reknowned BMW specialists 2002AD in 2012 and was repainted in BMW Rosso Red, the same color as our European E34 BMW M5 Limited Edition. The restoration included a newly rebuilt engine, a weber progressive32/36carburetor, replaced suspension and bushings,a 320i 5-speed manual (the car was previously an automatic, as reflected by the original rear badging which remains), a rebuilt exhaust, very effective A/C, and a 320i radiator to assist the A/C. A receipt from 2002AD details all of the work carried out. The car also benefits from a brand new set of Michelin tires. As one would expect after a full mechanical restoration, the steering is extremely tight, the engine runs very quiet, and the car drives really nicely, shifting through all of the gears nicely as well. The engine bay is flawless. The interior is completely original. The drivers seat has a small tear which can be easily repaired and the seats could do with some new foam.
