Chevelle . I dont have a build sheet or protect-O-Plate, but I believe this could be a True SS. A new GM Crate 350 ZZ4, 375 HP engine with approximately 1500 miles. CAM HYD Roller, Holley 4 bbl carburetor and HRI Distributor was installed by the previous owner. 12 bolt positraction with 3.73 rear gears and 400 Turbo Hydromatic with 2500 shift stall kit. Mini Torque converter. Power Brakes, front disk-rear drum, Cowl Induction hood. Partial list of what was done during restoration in spring of 2015: New trunk pan New interior floor pan, New gas tank, New vinyl top, New interior, New dash with old instruments, New period correct radio, New ignition lock, New retro wheels from Custom Wheels of California, New Nexen N3000 tires, New Flowmaster (#17119) with 2 1/2 exhaust, New Vintage air. The car is by no means a trailer Queen, but I believe it is one of the nicest Driver 1972 Chevelle that you will find. I have more pictures and information available upon request. |
