Corvette LT1. In 1972, Chevrolet produced approximately 240 LT1 Corvettes with factory air conditioning. This was the only year you could get AC on a LT1 car. This sweetheart second owner car is 100% bonafide unrestored Southern California garage kept from new. Adult owned, unmolested, zero corrosion/rust, never wrecked, one repaint in 1988. This is an Investment grade, museum or private collector quality car. The car has spent all its life in Southern CA cruising up and down Ventura boulevards and Highways in Encino where it was sold new at Fletcher Chevrolet. I believe it was Car and Driver magazine that said the LT1 was a frustrated racer, a fact it never lets you forget. The original owner owned the car for 22 years and Ive had it for 22 years as well. The car has every option available except rear window defogger, including PO2 hubcaps (which are in excellent condition) power steering, brakes, windows, stereo radio, tilt telescopic wheel, black leather interior, 3.55 posi rear end, etc... I have the original owners manual and all service records from day one. Hood, headlight doors and entry doors are in excellent alignment. All original fender bonding strips are still in place and undisturbed. This car is probably one of the most desirable high performance small block Corvettes ever made; certainly one of the top three most desirable C3s. |
