1972 Chevrolet Corvette for sale $43,900

The car is correct in every way as far as numbers matching, as well as code correct paint and interior. The window and tank sticker are included and will attest to the carandrsquo;s originality when compared to the factory drive train and options. The car was delivered new to Roger Penske Chevrolet in Southfield, Michigan. Factory installed options include the LT-1 high performance small block, rear window defroster, 4-season air conditioning, white letter tires and AM/FM pushbutton radio. Original glass and trim throughout. Factory gaps are very good, doors and hood fit, open and close without effort. Not a highly optioned LT-1 but an unusual combination of options for sure. This is 1 of an estimated 240 LT-1andrsquo;s built with factory air conditioning, with about 200 being couples. March 1972 production date. Factory air LT-1 cars are underappreciated rarities in todayandrsquo;s Corvette marketplace.

We have owned the car for nearly 11 years and have enjoyed it immensely but it is time for it to find a new home as life priorities change. The car is always garaged and has been driven trouble free over our time of ownership. Runs strong and handles smoothly. This car is not a trailer queen - it has been driven, well maintained and enjoyed as a classic Corvette should be. Maintenance records back to about the mid-1980andrsquo;s included. The car was repainted sometime prior to our purchase and is overall excellent, except a few minor imperfections as you would expect from a regularly driven car. We think the included pictures do a very good job documenting the overall condition of the car.

Other than regular maintenance (fluids, brakes, tune ups, etc.), the only significant repairs we have had done include replacing the original radiator and water pump which are included with the car should you chose to recondition and reinstall them. Tires have about 85% remaining tread life. The AC system needs freon periodically as there is a slow leak that we have not chased down. In cold weather the tachometer cable wines a bit until the car warms up. Original t-top bags, jack, jack handle, spare tire, ownerandrsquo;s manual and Roger Penske Chevrolet ice scraper are included. Vintage 1972 black South Carolina license plates which are included with the car. Also included are new OEM sill plates and OEM A-arm dust covers that I have not installed. New Covercraft Dustop car cover and miscellaneous vintage Corvette literature also included.

Clean South Carolina title. The car is sold as is. We welcome everyone who would like to come inspect and talk about the car in person. Greenville has a small regional airport (GSP) serviced by a few major airlines should you need to fly in to inspect. Car is located about 15 minutes west of the airport.
