1972 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe Pickup finished in two-tone Green and White paint with a Green and White Parchment interior. Powered by a formidable 350c.i. V8 engine and backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Featuring a short box, factory A/C, factory tachometer and gauges, power steering, and power brakes, this truck is ready for the weekend drive. This example is beautifully finished and shows in excellent condition. The past two owners combine for the last 27 years of ownership with the most recent owning the truck for 7 years. The truck is all original excluding the drivetrain. The engine is derived from a 1976 pickup and the transmission comes from a 1978 Trans-Am. The transmission is a Super T-10 and was fully rebuilt. The previous owner did a Frame-On Restoration and used all GM parts. It is a very well preserved nearly all-original example that would fit right into any collection or be the perfect ride for a weekend show. The C/K pickup for Chevy had always been the perfect truck for work and everyday life, the 1972 version is no different. The style came from a redesign in 1967 that was considered modern and even more so than Chevys closest competitor. Not many changes took place from 1967 to 1972. The grille was the biggest change as 1972 showcased an egg crate grille. Already a highly sought after truck, the 1971 and 1972 models are the most popular of the early model pickups from Chevy. For more information on this fabulous 1972 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe Pickup or any of our 50+ Classic and Collectible Cars always in stock, contact our friendly and knowledgeable sales team today.
