This 1972 Mercedes Benz 250C Coupe had a recent complete comprehensive nut and bolt restoration to an extreme high level. This meticulous restoration had every component done to exact factory standards and a there are a lot of NOS parts on the car. The car was restored its original color. This is one of the finest restoration examples in the world, and it would be hard to find a better one. This is a museum quality piece that would compliment any Mercedes Benz collection. The car is an automatic on the floor, bucket seats, power windows, A/C and a Becker Europa AM/FM original radio with Hirschmann antenna. HISTORY: The 250 and 280 coupes and convertibles used the same body as the 220SEb coupe and convertible. However, a new four-door body, developed from the 220SEb convertible styling, was introduced with the 250SE Sedan. The rear seats of the coupes and convertibles have much more room than the 220. The tire diameter was increased from 13 to 14. A horizontal-mount hydropneumatic (oil-air) compensating shock absorber was mounted above the rear axle to control ride height and provide a more smooth and stable ride. Four-wheel disc brakes were also added. For more pictures and further information on this vehicle, please visit: |
