Details: Olds Cutlass Supreme. After you see this Cutlass Supreme, youll agree that Olds got it right with this one. Sporty, elegant, and quick, its the perfect combination for a guy who doesnt need 500 cubic inches and flashy stripes to have a good time in a classic car.

The Saffron Yellow works extremely well on the chiseled Oldsmobile sheetmetal, looking perfect for 1972 but also fashionable in 2013. Somehow, the color only emphasizes the flared fenders and aggressively styled hood, while reinforcing the idea that Oldsmobiles arent just family cars. Theres plenty of chrome acting as jewelry against the paint. All of which is intact and quite nice, including the intricate black egg crate grille and multi-piece taillight lenses. The dark brown vinyl top looks great and fits snugly with no worries because it isnt hiding anything underneath. Youre also going to be pleased to see how straight it is, so you dont need to make any excuses for this Cutlass, because its every bit as nice as it appears in the photos. No modified hood, nothing that gets in the way of the original look that is GMs best blend of performance and style of the era.

It definitely looks like a luxury car inside, where a dark tan bench seat adds to the upscale atmosphere. The upholstery is in excellent condition, which is thanks to a combination of durable materials and excellent care. The gauges with their clear black-and-white markings look great, the bright needles are still vivid.

Guys who know Oldsmobiles know that the 350 Rocket is as durable as a block of granite and makes great torque that its siblings over at Chevy and Pontiac envy. The engine was detailed with a coat of Oldsmobile Gold paint, Edelbrock intake manifold for better performance at higher RPMs, Edelbrock carb, and new ignition components, but otherwise looks like a very well-maintained machine that has never needed major surgery. Its backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic and a set of 2.73 gears in the 10-bolt rear, so it just loafs along at highway speeds, making it the ideal car for long road trips. All the original parts have been stored; intake manifold, carbeurator, AM/FM Radio, and 8-Track player! A big part of the Cutlasss sporty demeanor comes from those cool aluminum wheels, which wear 225/50R15s in the front and 275/65R15 white-letter radials in the back.
