Second-generation Camaros have a lot to offerand#44; especially when they are rebuilt to be truly street-eating machines. Packing a performance-built 6.0-liter fuel-injected V8and#44; four-on-the-floorand#44; and a truly sinister black appearanceand#44; this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is intimidation on wheels. Long and sleekand#44; the second-gen F-bodies look timeless today. The vintage world has fully embraced their disco-era flash and now the best ones are being turned into some seriously slick machines. With less than 1and#44;700 miles on this buildand#44; youre looking at one mean custom Camaro. Additions include both the chin and deck lid spoilers that really emphasize the profileand#44; LED taillightsand#44; and an extra tall cowl induction hood. It has been built in the image of the best cars from this generationand#44; and thats why you have the iconic split bumper RS package and Z/28 badging. But the best part is this fierce classic can now blow the doors off of either one of those factory icons (but more on that in a moment.) Just like the exteriorand#44; the interior has a deep black custom appearance that has been built for focusing on intimidating power. Most of the stuff in here is newand#44; from the door panels to the carpets. Also you cant miss the new Corbeau bucket seats that offer far better support and keep you planted when youre driving this Camaro to its fullest. In between those is a custom center console with the addition of always-welcomed cup holders. The sea of darkness is broken up by some serious upgrades such as the shine of the Hurst shifter and the three-spoke Grant sports steering wheel. Plusand#44; your eyes are immediately drawn to the complete set of white-faced AutoMeter gauges. Even if youve peeked under the hood of many 2nd gen Camaros beforeand#44; we bet you havent see one like this before. Thats a sturdy 6.0-liter GM crate LY6 with factory LS3 headsand#44; intakeand#44; and injectors. Plusand#44; its running the cam out of the wicked hot LS9. For those not familiar with GMs alphabet soupand#44; just know that this is a super-strong modern fuel-injected power plant that produces some serious power. And everyone will know this is one special beast the moment they hear you fire it upand#44; and the Hooker headers feed the X-pipe dual exhaust. Getting this power to the ground is an unbeatable package. It starts with the total control of rebuilt Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission with new hydraulic throw out bearing and Pace Performance bell housing adapter and clutch. It connects to a new Eaton Positraction rear end with versatile 3.42 gears. More than just hooking up with the pavementand#44; this Camaro was built to stay there with great components like new front tubular control arms and upper and lower QA1 Coilovers. In the rear theres Hotchkiss lowering springs and a Hotchkiss sway bars. There are also new polyurethane mounts to keep everything feeling nice and tight. Plusand#44; theres power steeringand#44; four-wheel disc brakesand#44; and BF Goodrich gForce tires mounted on classic Torq Thrust alloy wheels. There are so many more detailsand#44; but we just dont have the room. So give us a call todayand#44; and well go over all the info and even share the build receipts and photos to let you know how truly awesome this build is. Dont wait too long on this oneand#44; because a one-of-a-kind custom build might only available once. |
