1973 Ford Galaxie 2 door hardtop police interceptor. w/ title. formerly owned by the kansas highway patrol. was retired in 1978 with 80293 original miles. has been in a private collection since. 460 c6 PI cruiser naturally fully equipped. am/fm radio, power steering, cruise control, power brakes, and air conditioning. the car has BFGOODRICH tires on the car and they are marked PURSUIT RADIALS. they are DOT RATED AT 145MPH as denoted on the tires. the tires are mounted on kelsey hayes wheels and have the original hubcaps. the trunk still has the spare in it and has the original jack. has the best components available from the ford factory. everything is king sized for the police interceptor . has the rare oil cooler from the factory only found on performance vehicles. the tailshaft on the transmission is cast iron. only found on the police interceptors and the cobrajet powered vehicles from this era. the car runs but will need a new gas tank to run for any length of time. with a new tank and some exhaust work it could be a running driving vehicle.
