The F series was the last of the early 911 long hoodsand#44; built from August 1972 to July 1973. The oil tank was moved back to the original location behind-the-wheel. This change was in response to complaints for the 1972 modeland#44; the gas-station attendants often filled gasoline into the oil tank. Beginning January 1973 Bosch K-Jetronic CIS (Continuous Fuel Injection) system from Bosch was used on Type 911/91 engineand#44; which replaced mechanical fuel injection (MFI). The CIS 2.4-liter engine produces 140 horse power @ 5and#44;700 rpm with a 915 traditional 5-speed transmission and four wheel disc brakes. Only 1and#44;944 K-Jetronic (CIS) fuel injection were built. Truly an amazing 911 to drive! Offered is a very Rare 1973.5 CIS fuel injection 911T Targa in beautiful condition!
