| Details: | 1974 Triumph TR6. Now ready for the road again after several years of under use. This car has been a rescue , repair, and now resell. Black and white coexist very well on this stately example of a classic British sports car at is finest .Presently licensed and insured. Using Terry now as a daily driver, to shake out any issues. I am getting up in years and need more energy and skills to finish the job to a concourse condition. An older restoration of the car was d1 late 80s or early 90s as a Monty Wards cassette player was still working before the painless removal. Steady fixing of the broken, miss aliened or adjusted has been challenging but fun. I have been driving the car to work the last several days and have a sign , along an interstate, hope it doesnt cause any accidents New clutch kit ,new cross arm and hydraulics have it shifting well now. tuned electrics best I can now with points. working on a new distributor with electronic ignition. presently it has its original. late Strombergs, I might switch to S.U. s if I have it this winter The car has a beautiful hard top , a like new soft top and top boot as well as a tonneau cover. All metal straight and frame appears very good. carpet nice, boot perfect. like new interior, engine bay clean, and properly sorted, addition of electric fuel pump for sure starting.. |
