You are looking at a 1975 BMW 2002. This iconic design has become one of the fastest appreciating collector cars on the market today. This particular car has underwent an extensive restoration, finished in Snap Orange. This vehicle also has a very strong ownership and maintenance history; I have owned this BMW 25 years and have equal amount of maintenance paperwork and receipts covering the build of this 2002.Ive outlined the particulars below, but as always give me a call for any questions. Exterior: *Solid car,vehicle was an original California car. *Recently refinished in VW snap orange, vehicle was completely disassembled prior to paint. Base coat/clear coat finish. * OEM BMW parts were used for restoration * 2002 rides on correct 15x 6.5/7 BBS RM Classic wheels with silver centers by Ardvarc racing and Bridgestone Potenza Re-11 195/50/15 tires * nicely detailed engine compartment, trunk area completed finished, along with trunk mounted battery and shock tower brace. * All new door, trunk and window weather stripping. Interior: * New custom Italian Auto part seats interior. * Finished in black with corduroy inserts on seats, New NOS door Panels, Headliner, sun visors all from Maximillian. * Custom console with VDO gauges and nicely installed Alpine CD with front and rear mounted speakers. * New Momo leather wrapped wheel with matching shiftknob. * New headliner done in white * Rear seat delete- have rear seat if need be. Mechanical: * Correct drivetrain, 4 speed * Complete motor rebuild top to bottom. Bought a factory BMW rebuilt . * New 228mm clutch, pilot bearing, slave cylinder * SandK 40 MM dual Weber style carbs* New starter, new heater motor, new radiator * Complete brake rebuild with fresh calipers and lines * New Bilstein HD shocks with HandR lowering springs at all 4 corners.*New factory BMW rebuilt 4 speed Tranny * New tii exhaust manifold and new Italian Monza exhaust with center rear exit. * Everything works on this vehicle as it should. Actual miles are guessed to be just at 62000, however it has New NOS instrument cluster showing 2200 miles since restoration
