Factory Trained Porsche Classic Technician, Dave Petitti has put nearly two years time into this 911S and it not only shows new but drives new as well.This 911S was Silver Metallic when new anddue tothe cars paint condition when it arrived at Porsche Colorado Springs it was decided this car would become the leadingexample of what Porsche Colorado Springs Classic Service Department is capable of.The exterior paintcolor of choice by the Porsche Classic department was Kelly Green to be paired with the original black partial leather interior. The exterior paintworkperformed by Superior Automotive in Pueblo, Colorado shows new and fresh. All glass was removed from the vehicle to ensure a proper color change.The interior has been refurbished by Knowles Trim Shop in Colorado Springs, Coloradoand shows new withdriver and passenger seatsbeing upgraded to include hounds tooth center inserts. The driver and passenger side door panels are original to the carand fit properly.The engine and transmission assemblieshave beenoverhauledusing only Porsche OEM parts supplied by Porsche Classic Parts. The crankshaft, camshafts, and cylinder heads were reconditioned during the engine overhaul process.The original exhaust was worn andreplaced with 911SC exhaustthat has been ceramic coated.Several additional parts were replaced during the engine / transmission overhaul including the alternator, vehicle battery, fan pulley, v-belt, axle flanges, dampening mat, ground cable, starter ring gear, deck lid struts, oil pressure switch, engine compartment stickers, and hydraulic chain tensioners were fitted.Tail light lenses are new with new exterior bulbs all around the car.The Porsche Classic Radio has been installed tocomplete the interior.Key elements that make this 911S special aremanual operation windows,5 speed transmission, and not having a sunroof.
