Details: 1976 Corvette T-Top Coupe Year: 1976 Body Style: T-Top VIN: 1Z37L6S408075 Engine: V8 Horsepower: 180 Transmission: Manual Exterior Color: Red Interior Color: Red Miles: 43,890 1976 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top Coupe Corvette was built in October 1976, early in the 1976 Corvette production year. Total production was 46,558 units. Only one model was produced that year, the T-Top. This Red T-Top is powered by the original base Corvette motor, L-48, rated at 180 Horsepower. This was an increase of 15 HP over the 1975 base motor. The engine compartment has all the proper components including the ignition shielding. Condition of the engine compartment is rated as street-driven. The motor is coupled with a 4-speed manual transmission with the correct shifter. This configuration, motor and transmission, was included in the original base price of the 1976 Corvette for $7,604. The original correct mileage is stated at 43,890, quite low for a 1976 vintage Corvette. The Corvette is painted the original Red color, a popular color in 1976. The paint is rated in average street-driven condition with only minor flaws. The fiberglass does reflect minor damage and discoloration in some areas. The interior is the Custom Interior option that included leather seats that are Red in color. The interior, seats, door panels and carpeting are rated in good condition. The wheels are correct including the wheel covers for a 1976 Corvette. The tires are rated in poor condition and will require replacement. Options were few on this Corvette, but did include A/C, a welcomed addition for summer driving. Also included were tinted T-Tops. The tinted T-tops are on the car and the solid ones are included. No original documentation is available for this Corvette. This car has been stored under a tarp in a garage for almost 15 years. It was driven in, parked, covered and never touched again until now. I have not done any maintenance to it. All the fluids are original and will need to be changed. I am sure the carburetor will need to be rebuild also as well as replacing the tires before it will be safe to drive. I did connect a charger to the battery, which did take a charge, and turned the key to make sure the engine is not seized up. I let it turn over, slowly, twice and shut it off. All the lights came on as they should. With minimal maintenance this car will be ready to cruse right away.
Analysis: Good Deal, 45.0% below market avg. What's this?
