Details: | 1979 Chevrolet El Camino. This is my project car. It has new front and rear control arm bushings, new shocks all the way around, new coil springs all the way around, new upper and lower ball joints, new tie rods and ends, new sway bar bushings, new motor mounts, new transmission mount, new brake calipers rotors and shoes on the front, new bearings all the way around, new drums shoes and cylinders on the rear, new master cylinder and power brake booster, new a/c evaporator core, new a/c condensor (not installed), new a/c accumulator (not installed), new a/c high pressure hoses (not installed), new tail light lenses, new front corner marker lenses, 2 new front fenders. The interior is in fairly rough condition. The dash has a huge crack, the carpet needs replaced, the seats need re-covered, the headliner is new, the door panels need replaced. All the glass is there and good. The tailgate functions fine. The inside of the tailgate is a little beat up. The front bumper needs work or replaced but is not horrible. There is one fairly decent size dent behind the driver side door that I think could be taken out fairly easily. The door hinges and striker have been replaced. It has a 350 engine that I put together about 5 years ago. so all components of it are about that age with roughly 30,000 miles on them. I bought the engine from city motor supply in dallas. Aluminum intake, mechanical fuel pump, delco distributor. If I can find the box label I will know what size cam I had City motor supply put in it, it was a pretty mild cam. The transmission was very recently rebuilt when I bought it. I have the receipt for it somewhere as well as receipts for all the other above mentioned items. The car runs fine it does have an oil leak at the timing chain cover to oil pan seal. |
