This gorgeous Jag was transformed from the V12 in1989, a new Chevy 350 and 700R4 trans were installed. At that time the Jag had only 40,000 miles. It was also repainted. Now 28years later with only 12,000 miles, the car runs and drives like new and the paint is unbelievably nice. There is no evidence of any rust and the body panels are all extremely straight. The interior is still original and in excellent condition. True wire wheels are a very nice addition. This car was from Texas and in storage with a bad V12 prior to the conversion. The XJ12L is the long wheel base model and carries a fairly high ratio rear axle. This combined with a low first gear and overdrive on the 700R4 gives the car both quality acceleration and great fuel economy (around 25mpg). You wont find a nicer Jag and would spend as much on the conversion as Im asking for the car. If youre looking for a really nice Jag here it is. Please call or E for ant info. Thanks Bill |
