This1979 Pontiac FirebirdTrans Am is the right color Black on Black,it has the right engine, a 403 that is fully rebuilt andpumpedup on Human Growth Hormones, and if you are looking Bandit Car, this is the one! Start with an Arizona car completely rust free car, add $30,000, completely go through the majorsystems in the car, including boring the engine 0.60 over, adding a whole bunch of performance tweaks, rebuild the transmission (Jasper), go through the gauge package, make sure that everything works as it should, this is what you get.
She looks great, she sounds crazy fast and mean, and she is a sleeper without the Gold Decals. Add the decals, dont add them, that is up to you, but she is fast, loud, sure footed, and quick as a fox.
The mechanicals on this car are excellent, with power steering, factory power brakes, everything works, tach, speedo, gauge package, lights, all of it. The exhaust sounds great as the tach dances in front of you. The engine in the car is a403 and it has been added to with a Mild Cam, a larger intake manifold, and a larger carburetor.Whatever way you look at this car she begs for you to be East Bound and Down!
The interior is in excellent condition, seats feel great, dash looks great, rugs are nice, the tee tops do not leak, and she feels great just to sitin and look over that hood. The front and back seats are in very good conditionalong with the rest of the car, including the dash, steering wheel, headliner, and carpets. Everything looks good as well, the rugs, steering wheel, headliner, and especially the super cool dash is in great condition, overall the interior is in really good shape. This car is ready to enjoy, simply get in and drive.
The underside of this car is also in very good to excellentcondition. It has no rust or rot, the paint does have a good shine but if you want perfection you willneed to give it a touch up. There are a couple ofnits and nats, but bottom line is that the car is rust free and only has the imperfections that come with time.Take a detailed look at the pictures, they tell the tale. Most of the work is piddly stuff that is an easy fix today, tomorrow, or in the future.
