| Details: | 1979 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. This car has been heavily modified for drag race or autocross use, while attempting to maintain a stock appearance. Full mod list is shown below. The car runs extremely strong and is ready to race, other than needing better tires. It also can be driven on the street and recently passed state inspection with no problem. I occasionally use it for commuting (17 miles each way). It has a heavy clutch and no A/C, so its not ideal as a daily driver. The body is in great shape with very straight original sheet metal, no rust, and just a few door dings. The paint is faded as seen in the pics, but it would be a very easy repaint since no sheet metal repair would be required. The interior is stock appearing except for an aftermarket tach, and is pretty clean. |
