1979 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser have all of the paper work from Cool Cruisers. The rig was restored at 79,000 miles. It now has 89,876, It has been garage kept when not being driven and has not been licensed for driving in the past decade or so. Throughout this period the Cruiser has been started and driven periodically. -New fluids (oil, coolant, brake, gear, transmission, petrol) -New battery -New plugs -New plug wires -New passenger door handle -New gas door lock -New high altitude compensator valve -Replaced vacuum lines and rerouted ones that had slipped off -New carburetor (old included) -Greased all fittings -Some heavy duty dusting It does still need a few things done to it and I plan on fixing these before selling it, or it can be negotiated. WHAT NEEDS DONE -The exhaust pipe needs to be rerouted. It currently comes out beneath the drivers door instead of out the back like stock. Im not sure why CCOT did it this way or why they didnt correct it.?? -Fuel gauge doesnt work -Replace air cleaner boot -Fasten Seat Belt light illuminates whenever the rig is on -The plastic rear brake reservoir leaks out its fluid where it enters the master cylinder . drive/exercise this rig about once a week and it runs great. The truck is in excellent condition with just a few nicks here and there... nothing major, but stuff you would expect from a 20 year old restore. The body, frame, and engine are all very solid, as is the extremely smooth shifting transmission. The door seals, window glass, and gaskets all are like new. Included is an early model Ramsey 3000 winch which has a value of $500+. This rig is already a show quality vehicle and is not far from being immaculate.
