Details:	This is a RARE 1980 Trans Am Pace Car with less than 5300 ORIGINAL DOCUMENTED miles. Only 5700 were ever made and this one was pampered and garaged its whole life. Other than the tires and the battery it is 100% original in every way. Except for VERY minor imperfections for driving the car 5300 miles it shows like it did when it rolled off the showroom floor 35 years ago. This Pace Car left the factory with every option available from the factory and EVERYTHING works flawlessly. The new owner will not have any issues in the condition of either the mechanical or the cosmetics of this particular car. Exactly what you would expect with a car that has only been driven at an average of 150 miles per year! Now in my opinion and those of classic car experts that I have contacted these miles are necessary to keep the car from deterioration. I was informed that letting a car just sit with no effort to keep it lubed up can send it into mechanical failure oblivion. This car if purchased will come with every conceivable piece of documentation one would expect to receive for a car with 5300 original miles. Original dealer invoice, registration, keys, manuals, certificate of origin, original window sticker, original buyers order, copy of original certificate of title, original insurance documents, and anything and everything you can think of considering authenticity is in hand. All are in prestine condition. Nothing is missing. One sold for $55,000 at Barrett Jackson with 236 miles and another one also sold at Barrett Jackson for around $44,000 with 6500 miles. This car has 1500 FEWER miles AND is thousands cheaper! Rest assured the asking price is more than fair since these highly respected auctions pretty much set the price for what classic cars are valued today. This car is flat out amazing in every way. Period. This car was NEVER restored so what you see is unmolested. All fluids have be changed, battery charged, detailed, andis finely tuned. I give you my word that the description is accurate and I will let anyone examine the car in person to confirm. Or send an inspector if you wish. But that will be a waste of money in my opinion. This car is exceptional in every way possible. By far the best example for sale in existence today! Here is a list of the VERY MINOR imperfections that one would have to expect in a 36 year old car with 5300 original miles. 1- Cracking on the hood decals and t-top stickers ( I have new ones to replace. Cost me $600) 2-A couple of verysmall paint chips on the left side of the steeringcolumn. I have the factory paint to address this very minor issue. 3- Very tiny paint mars (not chips) on the polyurethane body flares in front of the wheel wells. Just what you would expect for driving a car for 5300 miles. I cant even get them to show in the photos as you can see. 4-A little patina in the engine compartment. Again as expected even in a car that has been garaged for 36 years. 5- Carb was rebuilt just recently but it is the carb that came in the car from new. 6- Paint flaws that came from the factory from new. Technology was not as tight as they are today. Keep in mind these flaws are just about unavoidable to have in a 36 year old car that is 100% all original.
