Details: This Collector quality 1980 Porsche 928 is dressed in one of the rarest colors you could order from the Porsche dealership showroom. This unmodified example was sold new at Merlin Olsen Porsche in Encino, California and is finished in Cashmere Beige over full brown leather, a color combination that is as rare as they come. The car was driven daily by a Hollywood executive from Malibu, CA to Hollywood for over 30 years. It is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 paired with a 5 speed manual and the much desired sunroof delete option. The car is sold with the original owners and service manuals. Fully documented and includes all receipts and records for last 37 years. The car has had all operating systems thoroughly gone through and everything works as new. The motor runs as smooth as the day it came off the showroom floor. The clutch and synchronizers perform flawlessly and have been recently sorted by world renowned mechanics, Jones Autowerks in San Antonio, TX. The engine compartment is tidy and all regular fluid services have been performed. The undercarriage is clean and there are no obvious leaks. The air conditioning is ice cold. Body panels are straight with good panel gaps and no obvious dents or scratches. The original phone dial wheels still shine as new and maintain the factory paint. The tires are new and have covered about 3000 miles. The power steering, brakes, windows, and mirrors are operating correctly. All gauges, switch gear, VDO clock, and lighting are working in perfect order. The original Blaupunkt Porsche radio is present and works beautifully. The interior is in fantastic condition with no rips or tears and the headliner is in excellent condition. The seller has provided a short video of the 928 running at idle and revving smoothly with an incredible raspy exhaust note.
