There are not many steel bodied CJ5s left in really nice condition, especially with front disc brakes and power steering. The power steering is invaluable for low speed maneuverability in tight places and just makes it a lot more fun to drive. My 1981 Jeep CJ5 4x4 is equipped with the Hurricane I-4 engine, 4 speed manual, lift kit, 33x12.50xR50 15LT Load Range C tires, side bars and added AM/FM/CD stereo w/4 speakers. Additional upgrades in the last 12 months include a Bestop Supertop Soft Cab w/2 piece doors (also have bikini top), new alternator and new radiator. I even have the owners manual. This CJ5 has been stored inside since Ive owned it. I have removed the spare tire carrier/spare tire, front bumper tow hooks and the rear bumper taillight protector hoops (all parts saved) in order to store in my golf cart garage. I also have a new Curt Class III hitch receiver to fit this CJ5 and a 9,500# winch still in carton ready to install.
