This 1982 Volvo Two Door240 DL is nothing short of incredible. This car came from Canada and belonged to one owner who cherished this car and maintained it to the highest standards possible. There is a maintenance log with 270 entries. There are no aftermarket parts on this car, as everything used to maintain this car is original Volvo. The maintenance log shows the many awards and show appearances this car has logged. Built in Nova Scotia, it is a Canada Specification car with a carburetor with a manual choke instead of the fuel injection used on the USA cars. The interior is original and much of the paint is original. It has recent tires and the maintenance is up to date. The driving experience this car offers is exactly as it would have been if you were driving away from the new car dealership in 1982. The engine is quiet, uses no oil, and runs as it should. The clutch, transmission and overdrive are smooth. The brakes are responsive and everything in the car functions as it did on its first drive 34 years ago. This car was legally imported and has a valid Michigan title. Originally it was going to be a permanent member of the Rallye Collection, but quite unintentionally we ended up with and additional Volvo of the time period, so this 240 DL (the nicer of the two) is being offered for adoption only to a good home.
