Awesome two owner example with only 12,120 actual miles! All original in every conceivable way and loaded with all the favored options! Cabriolet top, wire spokes, excellent color combination, and complete with original books, window sticker, all keys, and more! Outstanding driver! The 1983 Cadillac was scheduled to be the last production Cadillac to feature rear-wheel-drive, although production delays at Cadillac allowed this attribute to remain until 1984. These 5th Generation designs were much lighter, and smaller than their predecessors, but provided bigger trunks, more legroom, and more headroom due to excellent engineering! This led to much needed fuel economy improvements and a better road going car overall. The 1983 model year featured a revised engine with improved horsepower by 10 extra ponies, frosted parked lamps with gold Cadillac wings, simplified rear deck lid trim, and the Cadillac script now placed in the radiator grill. This unbelievable 1983 Cadillac Coupe deVille is finished in factory applied Cameo Ivory with stunning, factory fresh Yellow Leather interior! Power comes from a stout HT4100 (4.1L) Digital Fuel Injection V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission! Options include padded Cabriolet Roof with carriage lights, digital climate-controlled HVAC system, full dash instrumentation, AM/FM Stereo audio system, trip computer, leather wrapped steering wheel, tilt/telescopic steering column, cruise control, power windows, dual 6-way power adjustable front seats, power locks, power remote trunk release, cruise control, Sentinel lights, rear defrost, illuminated driver and passenger vanity mirrors, 15 wheels with wire spoke wheel covers 1 whitewall radial tires, all tinted window glass, door edge guards, security system, removable trash can, fender-mounted indicators, under hood and interior trunk lamps, Space-Saver spare tire, carpeted floor mats, front bumper guards, and body side moldings! This amazingly well kept example sold new to its first owner on May 31st, 1983 through DeSimone Cadillac Co. and stayed with this original owner through approximately March 2011! It traded hand to join the Evergreen Historical Automobile collection at that time. With an average of less than 350 driven every year since new, today shows an odometer reading of only 12,120 actual miles! One look at this car from any angle, inside or outside, will easily show the next owner that it has been maintained magnificently! All internal features: lights, alarms, air conditioning, power features, etc. are fully functional! We can only find the power radio antenna currently inoperable. It will come with original window sticker, two sets of keys, hubcap tool, all factory books/manuals, and the original dealer representatives business card.
