1983 GMC K1500. To start this is more or less to test the waters. I have a 1983 GMC 4 wheel drive short bed pickup. Ive been the primary owner for the past 11 years. Bought the truck when I was 14 and completely went through this vehicle as a high school father son project. I am not just trying to make some quick money here if thats how it seems. I am ready to sit on it until I hear a fair deal. This truck has immense sentimental value and would love to keep it but hate to see it just sit in my driveway. So I would rather sell it to someone who will enjoy it and care for it as much or more as I have.. All the work that has been done to this truck was either done by me or my dad. And by gone through I mean almost 80% has been repaired or replaced. It sounds skeptical but I have a folder full of receipts and info dating back to the original purchase from Alaska Sales and Service to prove it. That being said I have a laundry list of improvements that I can go into detail if you are interested but will list a few of the major upgrades.. -new front fenders and used hood-fully electric doors (used)- complete replacement rust free bed from Oregon-custom paint with metallic pearl purple on bottom and black on top with a super thick spray in bed liner. Much thicker than normal-complete specd rebuilt motor with a just over stock comp cam upgrade with new lifters and header back exhaust-modernized headlights with 3500 lumen rated led bulbs (wired with retrofit harness to improve performance)-rebuilt front end-rebuilt transmission with upgraded BandM kit-custom upholstered seat along with other interior upgrades. I could go on and on about this truck and can answer any questions you may have. To be completely transparent it does have a few issues. As of right now the driver window does not roll down and the lock solenoid does not work. The carburetor needs a little fine tuning (possible jet issue) and the headlights wont turn on so the wiring needs to be looked over. Also I will try and load or at least get some more recent photos to send over text. I will entertain any reasonable offer. Or for a negotiated price I can fix the issues listed above but will sell as is. Again I am prepared to wait until I feel I can make a fair deal with the right person..
