Asking $50,000, or best offer. I want to sell it because I just dont drive it anymore. It needs a good home. To the best of my knowledge, the car has never been in an accident.

Hugh (818) 439-3000

84 ROW (Rest of World) 911 with Euro Specs including higher compression, bigger fuel rails, 231 HP as compared to 201 for a US version. US Federalized by AMG (yeah, the folks that do the upscale Mercedes) 8 and 9 wide by 16 Fuchs, Factory Transmission cooler, unlike a US version, which doesnt have one. Im not sure, but I think the trannie gearing is more like that in Europe than the USA. It cruises at a lower RPM at 80 MPH than a US version. Smaller rear bumperettes than a US version and factory side turn signal indicator lights. Has an aftermarket A/C, the car did not come originally with A/C, it sort of works, like most 911s of this vintage.

The car has NO rust and the engine and trannie DO NOT LEAK. Does NOT emit blue smoke on startup after sitting for a few days.

Runs very well. I think pretty much everything works down to the cigarette lighter (not that you would use it in the car, but whatever).

It has a Steve Wong chip (911cars.com) designed specifically for this car. Steve plugged a data logger into the DME and he and I flogged it up and down the 101 freeway in Los Angeles very early on a Sunday morning and he programmed the chip for this specific car. It WILL pass CA SMOG, it has a new Catalytic converter and Oxygen sensor as well.
The Targa top was reconditioned before I bought the car 12 years ago, but it does have a wind noise.

It has a Sony AM/FM/CD player with an Aux audio input on the front for an iPod or similar input (with removable security faceplate), the antenna was replaced by me with a factory correct one that does go up and down depending on whether you are using the radio or the CD player. I replaced the two front door speakers, due to paper cone deteoriation, the speakers match the style of the car and fit in the original openings. and sound great.

Newer OEM front rotors, pads and wheel bearings and races. Newer clutch cable, newer oil return tubes and oil tensioner lines. New Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor. I put in all new shifter bushings when I bought it, and it shifts pretty decently.

The Carrera Tail is not original, but is genuine Porsche and the rubber is soft and pliable, It has a real Porsche OEM, second gas strut on the right deck lid hinge with a genuine, proper Turbo hinge. The front hood gas struts are newer and OEM, and the hood does stay up with them. The car was repainted by the previous owner to the original color, and is pretty good.

Original spare tire and jack, but no tool roll. H4 headlights that use the original sugar scoop headlight surrounds. High quality, maybe original, owners handbook.

I have a hood and full front bra for it as well.

In the front trunk pic, I lifted up the original carpet for a view of the area underneath, the carpet is original and in great shape.

Analysis: Good Deal, 25.0% below market avg. What's this?
