This 1988 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L Convertible is the right color combination, Black on Black with a Gray Interior, the right engine 5.0L High Output V8, the right transmission a nice shifting 5 Speed, it has a brand new top, and it runs and drives fantastic. This is one really nice Pony Car! There are some small flaws that we detected, but this is really small stuff, this car screams at us. GO FAST!
The mechanicals on this car are excellent, with power steering, great power brakes, everything works, speedo, gauge package, tach, lights, all of it. The exhaust sounds great! The engine in the car is a correct and original matching numbers 5.0L V8.
Whatever way you look at this car she smiles back at you begging to be driven.
The interior is also very good to excellent with no rips or tears in the seats, no cracks in the dash, the steering wheel, and touchables all feel great, along with the rugs, and the top is also in very good condition. Overall the interior is in really good shape. This car is ready to enjoy, simply get in and drive.
The underside of this car is very good condition, with no rust or rot. Minor surface stuff from sitting but that is all. All original pans, rockers, floors, and overall in very good to excellent condition. The paint is very good and shines nicely, not perfect, but good driver quality, please see the pictures. Buy it and drive it, win at shows right now.
