We are pleased to present this 1988 Jaguar XJSConvertible for purchase. The dandy of a classic was inherited and unfortunately we do not have room to keep it. THIS CAR IS A CUSTOMER V8 CHEVY AUTOMATIC ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION CONVERSION WITH LOW MILES. PLEASE NOTE THE CONVERSION HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED. The only mileage we can validate is from the last time this car was registered which is 34,200.

The XJS is a luxury grand tourer manufactured from 1975 to 1996 by Jaguar of England. It is an iconic looking vehicle with an impressive power-plant. The only other makes producing V12 powered cars at the time were Ferrari and Lamborghini, and they werent building them for luxury; however, the Jaguar compared well with the Italians plus added more comfort. In 1988, the convertible model was introduced and became a household favorite. Convertible models were actually contracted coachwork for Hess andamp; Eisenhardt for 1986 to 1988.

This 88 Jaguar XJS has been garage with a low mile engine that run. Itandrsquo;s ready for a new owner to polish it up and to be fair would classify as a light project car. This car has great curb appeal in Black with tan leather interior. This is a great color combination and a really nice luxury cruiser ready for the nice weather when you are.
