1988 Toyota FJ62 Land Cruiser. Details. Straight 6 3f-efi-(electronically fuel injected) 4-speed automatic transmission-Four wheel drive-Power windows locks and mirrors-The transfer case is in great condition-Bumpers and end caps are in great shape-No rust or issues-Engine starts right up and does not smoke cold or warmed up-Four wheel drive works well and there are no issues-Passed Oregon DEQ-Panel fit and body gaps are also excellent and doors open and close like new-Interior is all original (no rips)-Carpets are in great shape-Dash is perfect-One small hole in headliner but otherwise without any tears-Mechanically it runs and drives great-AC converted to 134A - blows ice cold-Brakes and rotors are also in great shape-All of my service has been done at Certified Toyota mechanic in Portland or Land Cruiser NW-The guys at LCNW say It runs and feels like a car with half the miles it has....You know how long these things run right?-Underside is very solid throughout with excellent frame and floors-Wheelhouses and dog legs are in solid shape throughout-2-inch receiver and hitch-Only rust is a finger-length spot on the back tailgate-Kill-switch installed-344000 miles-Engine and transmission were rebuilt before I bought it-I dont have the paperwork as it was 2 owners before me-LCNW mechanics feel the rig runs really great without any hiccups. Within last 500 miles the following work has been done(over $9500 worth). OEM Toyota wagon wheels - 16(yes 16 not 15)-New BF Goodrich All-Terrain 26575 r16 tires (31) - less than 500miles on them-4-wheel alignment-Front end rebuild completely -New ring and pinion-New radiator-New transmission radiator-New catalytic converter exhaust tail pipe and mufflers-New oem thermostat manifold gasket 6 fuel injectors fuel filter-All windows have new OEM window runs-New left front and rear door handles -New rear wiper arm and blade-New front wipers-New trunk laser measured cargo mat(FJ62s only came with rear lap belts)-2 new shoulder strap rear seat belts put in-2 Yakima towers and 2 crossbars. The quirks. Power antenna not functional but the radio still gets great reception. The petrol gauge doesnt accurately capture fuel consumption. When it gets to E theres about another 100miles more you can drive. I consistently get about 230 miles per tank. . Only things on rig that are not original. Cd playerradio-Front seats-Wheels and tires (new as of 500miles ago)-Rubber floor mats in front and back (carpets are in excellent condition). Located in Portland OR.
