Details: | 1989 Ford Mustang GT 5.0This is a Mustang GT that I have owned for more than 20 years. It was my daily driver for many years and now I want to find it a good home. I just dont have the time to wrench on it anymore and Id rather see it go to someone with the time to take care of it.It has quite a few modifications and Ill do my best to describe them:*Engine rebuilt in 2012 with GT40 heads a slightly more aggressive cam (I believe Crane brand) and Edelbrock Performer upper and lower intakes. About 20000 miles since this rebuild.*5-speed T5 transmission rebuilt in 2012 with a new high-hp clutch.*While I had the engine and tranny out I repainted the engine bay.*Cooling fan converted to electric model with a variable speed automatic fan control unit that runs as needed for cooling.*Upgraded the mass air to 95 mm and 30 pound fuel injectors.*KandN cool air intake.*Converted for 130 amp alternator.*Cobra 17X8 chrome wheels front and back. The chrome is a bit rough and should be re-chromed.*130 MPH speedometer with white faced reverse glow inserts that glow at nightIf I had to choose the next project for the car I would say paint. The bodywork is solid and smooth but the paint has some imperfections. It was repainted by me in 2013 and I am not very happy about the quality of my work. I was meticulous about studying the art of painting for months before the project and I used quality paint but there is no substitute for hard-earned experience in the world of auto paint. There are some drips and some orange-peel and areas that got chipped and started to rust. The paint could use to be sanded flat and professionally sprayed.Currently located in Temple Terrace FLFinancing Nationwide Shipping and Warranties available to qualified buyers.
