1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition VIN: ZA9CA05A4KLA12514 An icon of automotive designand#44; the Lamborghini Countach rewrote the rules by which all supercars where measured. This 9and#44;429-mile 25th Anniversary edition expresses Horatio Paganis interpretation of the striking Marcello Gandini design. A very well kept collector carand#44; in 2007and#44; at 14and#44;463 kmand#44; the Countach had its complete fuel system refurbished from the gas tank to the fuel injectorsand#44; as well as the brake calipers rebuilt and brake system restoredand#44; and a new alternator and climate control module installed representing over $10and#44;000 worth of work. Since arriving at Canepa the Countach has been completely cosmetically detailed and mechanically serviced. The engine was tunedand#44; and every mechanical system in the car was evaluated and repaired if necessary. Over 200 hours was spent on the exterior and interior detailing alone. No expense was spared on this low mileage carand#44; and the Countach has received anything required to bring it to 100% condition. As it sits now the Countach is impeccable both mechanically and cosmetically. And for those who miss the rear wingand#44; have no fear ... the car comes with its original rear wing in excellent conditionand#44; and ready to be reinstalled if wished. About the 25th Anniversary Countach5167 cc V12 Named to honor the companys twenty-fifth anniversaryand#44; the 25th Anniversary Countach was mechanically very similar to the 5000QV but sported much changed styling courtesy of Horatio Pagani. The rear air boxes were restyled and enlargedand#44; while the vents behind them were changed so that they ran front to back instead of side to side. In additionand#44; a new air dam and side skirtingand#44; both with air intakesand#44; were fittedand#44; and the taillights were restyled to be narrowerand#44; with body-colored panels replacing the upper and lower parts of the previous large taillights. The styling changes were striking on the 25 year old designand#44; and had the added benefit of improved the engines coolingand#44; a problem the powerful Countach had always struggled with. The Countach also featured 345/35R15 tires; the widest tires ever available on a production car at the time. The Anniversary was produced from 1988 to 1990 when it was finally replaced by the Lamborghini Diablo. VIN Decode:Z-Europe Odometer at 15174 Kilometers = 9429 miles |
