Details: 1993 Mazda Miata MX-5, black with tan convertible top and tan leather interior. This is the last year for the 1.6L engine and the original dash design, with a single air bag on the driverandrsquo;s side. Five-speed manual transmission. Factory C package, which includes alloy wheels, power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, leather upholstery, air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, cruise control, AM/FM/CD/cassette sound system, power antenna, tweeter speakers in seat headrests, and bass speakers in seat backs. Car has just over 101,000 miles, and I still drive the car occasionally.

I am the second owner, having bought the car from the original owner in August 1996, at 34,000 miles. Since my ownership, the car has never been driven in the winter, and is always garaged and covered when not driven. The body has no rust. The passenger door was repainted before my ownership; the remainder of the paint is factory original. The paint has a nice shine, however, there are numerous small dings, scratches, and watermarks in the paint, especially in the horizontal surfaces, all commensurate for a car of this age and mileage. I have photographed two of the larger issues: a scratch in the right front corner, and a dent next to the filler cap from a garage incident (the paint was not broken, but something in the garage fell on the car).

Everything functions on this car; it starts, stops, shifts, accelerates, and steers without any issue at all. All power accessories operate correctly. The (R-12) A/C blows cold. Both AM and FM radio work fine, as does the power antenna. The CD and cassette players work, however, they are sometimes stubborn (the CD is prone to skipping, and the cassette does not always fast forward or reverse). All lights work. The car passed NJ State Inspection in August of 2015 (at which time it needed and got a new oxygen sensor). The leather upholstery has held up well, with some wear showing along the driverandrsquo;s seat outer bolster.

The car is almost 100% original. The only non-original pieces on it are the door sill plates, the tire valve stem caps, the Lloyd floor mats, and the storage bag between the seats. The car still has its factory original alloy wheels, clutch, and exhaust system. The wheels have dealer-installed locks, and several of them have some slight curb rash. The Michelin tires (in the correct 185/60-14 size) show about 6/32 of remaining tread. The convertible top was replaced in 2003, and it has no rips or tears, and the plastic rear window is clear. The original tan top boot is included. The timing belt was replaced at 60,000 miles, and is due for its next replacement at 120,000 miles.

During the summer of 2015, the car was given extensive servicing, which included spark plugs and wires, air filter, fuel filter, transmission and rear axle fluid changes, coolant flush, replacement of all radiator and heater hoses, brake fluid flush, front brake pads andamp; rotors, and rear brake pads. Earlier this year, the heater core was replaced. Most recently, new KYB shocks and Racing Beat coil springs were fitted at all four corners, and it also got a 4-wheel alignment at that time.

The sale includes a Covercraft brand custom-fit indoor/outdoor car cover. The car needs nothing for it to be enjoyed immediately. I have clear NJ title to the car in my name.
