1994 GMC Suburban 2500. This is a Classic Truck that had been put together approximately 7-Years ago-Love this Truck but need to sell it FAST!-Installed a 1986 12-Valve Cummins Diesel engine in this Suburban that came out of a School Bus!. After about 100000 miles on it and after installing it in the Suburban decided to pull the entire Engine out and swap in a 5-Speed NV4500 Manual Transmission!. The Transmission has all brand new Bearings and Seals. The Engine (while it had been out) got brand new Bearings and brand new Rings plus all brand new Seals and Gaskets as well!. The Air Conditioner is not currently hooked-up however it would not be hard to do.. This Suburban model averages approximately 18.0 MPG for City driving and 22.0 MPG for Highway depending how fast you are driving. At 70 MPH it is around 20.0 MPG. During Towing averaged between 15.0 MPG and 19.0 MPG.. The Paint job is not perfect neither is the Interior. But she runs and drives great. And she will last a very long time yet to come!. Both the Engine and Transmission have just under 10000 miles since freshened up. And the Ball Joints Tie Rod Ends along with both the Idler Idler Arm Pitman Arm Power Steering Gear have all been replaced about 15000 miles ago.. Note. Lots of money had been needed to do the swap - over $12000.00 had been invested into everything done but will never be able to sell it for that much!!!.
