This special creation was modeled after a 1923 Ford Model T, nicknamed The Billet-T. It is the combination of Lil John Buteras all Billet suspension and Rick Santos performance running gear. It has a polished Billet front torsion bar, Jaguar style 3.55:1 posi rear end with handmade Billet axles and rear independent suspension. John Butera (somewhat of a legend in Southern California) built suspensions for Boyd Coddington and Don The Snake Prudhomme. The highly modified 327 C.I./375 H.P. V8 was built by 5-time world champion drag racer Rick Santos who mated this brute of a motor to a completely polished TH350 automatic transmission, added an oversized polished radiator, and 4-wheel disc brakes to the build. Lots of chrome and custom touches grace this one-of-a-kind creation from one of the industries most talented builders. Options include a performance built 327 C.I./375 V8 with 2x4 Holley carburetors, TH350 automatic transmission with polished case, 4-wheel disc brakes, chrome headers/side exhausts, all Billet aluminum front suspension with chrome shock absorbers, all Billet independent rear suspension with inboard disc rotors, full Stewart Warner gauges, electric cooling fan, 135SR15 BSW front/N50-15 rear tires, centerline polished aluminum wheels, Vintage Ford Corcoran lamps for running lamps, turn signals, brake lamps and wipers and much more.
