For sale is a 2001 Cadillac Eldorado ETC convertible. It rolled off the line and was sent straight to Coach Builders Limited where it was converted and sold new as a convertible at the dealership. I bought the car last year. I take very good care of my cars. The first thing I did was take it to the dealership to get all the kinks worked out. I always put Amsoil in. Had transmission and coolant service. All the brakes were re-done at that time. I had the pads changed over to ceramic so they wouldnt dirty up the white walls. Everything works great. Its the ETC which produces 300 horses. Its fast. You can see a couple of indentations where I had the car seat in the back - most of the time I was driving this car with my son in it, so it hasnt been driven hard. Never saw snow. I added a modern stereo and small sub which you can see on the floor in the back seat. This was all professionally done and it sounds and looks great. As far as problems, there really arent many. You can see the scratch on the passenger door which was there when I bought it, and never got around to fixing. It didnt go through the paint. There is a small crack at the base of the windshield as well as another mark nearby. There are a few other nicks, but nothing much to speak of. The convertible top has a couple small marks of wear, but is in good condition. Ive driven it in rain and didnt have any leaks. Air conditioner blows cold. Seat heaters work. These cars tend to go between $15k and $30k depending on the condition. I was expecting to sell it for $15-20k in the spring, but am lowering the price a bit to avoid the hassle of winter storage up here in New England. |
