2006 Mini Cooper S finished in Metallic Blue with Black Racing Seats. The Mini Cooper has had a good following since its inception and prides itself on a unique looking sporty compact car. This example goes beyond what anybody at Mini Cooper may have thought of at the time. Giant Slayer doesnt do this car justice with 375hp (at the wheels) and only 2,250 lbs, it is hard to think of any street legal car that this Mini couldnt take down. What started as a simple hobby for the prior owner shortly after buying the vehicle new in 2006, turned into an absolute obsession. The end result is a Mini Cooper S in name only as virtually everything else has been modified and improved on, from how it left the factory. This Mini was ordered and delivered as one of the last JCW (John Cooper Works) equipped R53 version cars for the US market from Mini of Portland. It has resided in the Pacific Northwest since with its only owner and has just over 5k miles since new. Built with the goal to dominate the autocross, while still remaining street legal. The end result is a car that truly can live to the homage race on Sunday and work on Monday. The stock engine block was retained but everything else has been updated. The supercharger has been replaced with an intercooled turbo (Garrett GTX2860R) with a custom intake manifold, Madness-Motorworks built Motor (Big Valve Ported Head and Intake, Shrick Cam, SuperTech Valve Springs, Wiseco Pistons, Fully Balanced Internals, Oil Cooler), Turbo Install by Portland Speed Industries, Front-Mount Intercooler, Vipec V88 ECU (Tuned by John Reed Racing), Tuned on E85, Radium Engineering Surge Tank, and 1000cc Injectors. All this produces a faintly believable but dyno-tested at 375hp. Aside from the Engine, the Chassis, Drivetrain, and interior have also been upgraded. These upgrades consist of; OS Gilken Limited Slip Differential, New ACT Clutch, Lightweight Flywheel, Carbon Fiber Hood, Fuel-Safe 8-Gallon Fuel Cell, SafeCraft Halon Fire Extinguisher, Boost/Fuel Pressure/Wideband AFR Gauge, Hypercoil Springs (450# Front, 525# Rear), Hotchkiss Front Sway Bar/Madness Rear Sway bar, Updated Rear Aluminum Trailing Arms from R56 Mini, Mini GP Rear Interior, Custom Fender Flares by Straight-Line Auto Body in Portland, Sparco EVO-2 race Seats and Pyrotect Harnesses, Moton Club-Sport Double Adjustable Shocks with Remote Reservoirs, 2 Sets of A6s (Auto-X) and 1 Set of R6s (Track Days), Custom made 15x10 Bogart Racing Wheels with 275/35/15 rubber on all corners. The prior owner campaigned the car in the SCCA National Championship and took home the following accolades:1st Place in Pro-Solo SMF 2011 (Both Pro Finale and Season Points Champion)1st Place Solo SMFL 20112nd Place Solo SMF 20111st Place Solo XPL 2010In addition to these National Championships, it has also won 1st or 2nd at every National Tour and Pro-Solo event that they entered. For more information on this 2006 Mini Cooper S, or any of our 100+ high-performance, exotic, and special
