Now, the Ford Cobra Jet is not street legal but this Mustang is. This car was purchased brand new and then stripped bare so it could undergo its transformation. When it was released from the shop (with only 4 miles on it) this once tame horse is now one wild Mustang. It is equipped with a Ford Racing 5.4L Supercharged V-8 that puts out close to 1,000 horsepower! A Coan racing transmission with a 3,200 stall with a trans brake handles the torque and a Strange 4-Link rear suspension helps get it all to the ground through a Strange 9 with 4.11 gears. The car is stopped with confidence by Strange brand manual disc brakes and calipers on all four corners. There is a parachute setup and stalk if needed along with a button for the exhaust cutouts. Upon opening the doors you will see the NHRA certified cage with swing out bars for easy entry. The interior is well appointed with air conditioning, power windows and power steering. This car is blast to drive and would compliment any collection. Though this Mustang Cobra Jet is legal to drive on the street and will surely hurt some egos, Due to the power, it is not recommended for the novice driver.
